Garth revealed a few details on the four discs of cover songs over the weekend on a Great American Country special. As previously reported, one disc focuses on Garth's classic country influences, including his take on George Strait's "Unwound" and Keith Whitley's "Don't Close Your Eyes," as well as a duet with wife Trisha Yearwood on Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn's "After the Fire Is Gone." On another disc, Garth covers R&B classics like Gladys Knight's "Midnight Train to Georgia," Stevie Wonder's "Superstition," and the Motown gem "I Heard It Through the Grapevine." The classic rock disc finds Garth singing songs from Jackson Browne, Jerry Lee Lewis and Bob Seger, and a fourth disc, titled Melting Pot, features Garth singing both parts of Simon & Garfunkel's "Mrs. Robinson" among other folk and pop hits.
