Taylor Swift has been receiving raves for how amazing she looked at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Showspecial taping, but one of the "angels" who strutted the catwalk during the special doesn't think Taylor has what it takes to be an actual runway model.
Speaking to Women's Wear Daily, Australian model Jessica Hart said "no" when asked if Taylor could pull off being an actual Victoria's Secret model. She continued, "I think, you know what, god bless her heart. I think she’s great. But, I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that."
"I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we’ve been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It’s definitely the benchmark of all jobs," she continued.
Perhaps it's noteworthy that of all the models with whom Taylor exchanged tweets and Instagram photos after the taping on Wednesday, Hart was not one of them.
In any event, Hart has since backtracked in an interview with Us Weekly, saying, "I could never get up there and do what she does! She is a true rock star and she absolutely killed it the other night. Her song 'Pieces' was one of my favorite songs, and I own her first-ever CD. I can't imagine why I would have said anything bad about her."
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show special will air on CBS December 10.
