Whether it's the American Music Awards, the Grammys or the Country Music Association Awards,Taylor Swift can usually be seen in the front row, dancing and singing at the top of her lungs to every single song, no matter what the genre. Now, Taylor has revealed why she seems to treat every awards show like it's one big dance party, and she's the biggest fan in the room.
"I have a really good time at awards shows," she said backstage at the American Music Awards. " I think a couple years ago, I just decided that…instead of stressing out, kind of approach it as if you get to go to the best concert of all time."
That's why, when Taylor got to the podium at the end of Sunday night's show, she said she was out of breath because she was singing along to Miley Cyrus' hit "Wrecking Ball" so hard. And that wasn't the only one that made her lose her mind.
"I just thought that there were so many good [performances]," she said. "Like, Imagine Dragons, like, killed me! That was amazing. So yeah, I felt very lucky to be in the audience, and to be dancing to all of it."
This Friday, Taylor will go from being a fan in the audience back to being a superstar as she takes the stage in Auckland, New Zealand for the first show of her RED tour Down Under. She's got three shows in New Zealand, and four in Australia before wrapping things up in mid-December.
