Sturgill Simpson’s new 20-song bluegrass album, Cuttin’ Grass: Vol 1 – The Butcher Shoppe Sessions, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart this week.

Cuttin’ Grass debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Bluegrass Albums chart and the Billboard Americana/Folk Albums chart.

Cuttin’ Grass consists of 20 songs from Sturgill’s past catalog, which have been reincarnated as bluegrass tunes.
