CMA Awards Exposure Translates into Big Album Sales Bumps

Exposure on the CMA Awards translated into big sales bumps for a few artists featured on the show. New Artist of the Year winner Kacey Musgraves' saw a 567 percent sales increase for her album Same Trailer Different Park, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The project is back in the top five on Billboard's Country Albums chart as a result.

Blake Shelton's CMA Album of the Year win for Based on a True Story… gave that album a 148 percent sales bump to push it to #4 on the Country Albums tally.  Duo of the Year winners Florida Georgia Line'sHere's to the Good Times also saw a 68 percent sales bump.

The Duck Dynasty holiday album, Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas, spends a second week at #1 on the country chart.
