With a CD called Rubberband, we probably shouldn’t be surprised that Charlie Worsham is flexible.  In a new YouTube clip, he covers Katy Perry’s chart-topping hit, “Roar.”  The video finds the newcomer in a stadium, alternately performing and attempting a Rocky-esque workout in a grey sweatsuit. Eventually, Worsham breaks into a full-blown version of “Eye of the Tiger,” the Survivor hit from Rocky III that Katy Perry references in her song.

It’s all a part of Charlie’s Cover Challenge series. So far, he’s attempted “Radio Ga Ga” by Queen, “I Want Candy” from Bow Wow Wow and “Gangnum Style” by PSY.  His new single isn’t a cover, however. The follow-up to his hit “Could It Be” is “Want Me Too,” from his debut CD.
